About our Zoom Training Sessions
These are unprecedented times! We have always kept up to date with our own professional development and as a business we like to think creatively so changing our practice to keep up with what has been happening has not been difficult. We have always loved a challenge! One way we have adapted is to go online! We never considered doing this in the past but we love it now! We have found on-line live training using Zoom to be very successful and will definitely continue this way of working in the future. If you have never considered it you should ask yourself why not?
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
HOW DOES A ZOOM SESSION WORK?
Most Zoom sessions are a combination of us explaining and often working through a sequence of exercises with our own dogs, followed by us coaching you through each exercise after you have seen it. we then give immediate feedback and suggestions that help you get to your goal. It is just like an in person session but better because there are no distractions. It is just as relaxed , you can still ask questions and it is definitely just as fun. All you need is your dog and a space to work that is in view of your webcam so we can see you work.

- Real life training – you train in the environment in which the help is needed, we see the dog you see so we can target the training precisely
- No bias – sometimes when we come to your home to train or we are present in the training location it changes the way your dog behaves. This makes training difficult for you especially with an anxious or over-excited dog for example. Working remotely ensures this does not happen and you get to train the dog you know without the added distraction of a new visitor in the home
- It can be recorded so you have something to refer back to when you do your training sessions alone
